Since the beginning of this year, a "Henan fever" has quietly emerged in U.S.-China people-to-people exchanges. From pickleball tournaments and Chinese Bridge competitions to tracing Edgar Snow's footsteps, American delegations visiting Henan are arriving more frequently than ever. Notably, the youth are taking the lead among these visitors crossing the Pacific. "Why Henan? Why now?" asks Gary, an American professor at Sias University in Zhengzhou, offering his own answer.
