On May 1st, Nanwan Lake Scenic Area in Xinyang City saw a massive tourist influx. Crowds waiting to board cruise ships at the pier stretched like a winding dragon, brimming with liveliness; boats shuttled constantly across the lake, and Tea Island as well as Bird Island were thronged with visitors. Despite the large number of people, tourists were still in high spirits, taking out their phones one after another to capture the beautiful lake and mountain views. All staff members of the scenic area were on post to guide and divert the flow of visitors, keeping everything in good order. Laughter and cheerful conversations echoed everywhere, filling the scenic spot with a strong festive holiday atmosphere.
