On April 25, the 2026 Annual Conference of the Translators Association of China (TAC) opened in Wuhan.

4月25日，2026年中国翻译协会年会在武汉开幕。

The Academy of Translation under the China International Communications Group (CICG), the Foreign Affairs Office of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, Zhengzhou University, and Henan International Communication Center (HICC) officially established a strategic partnership at the opening ceremony.

开幕式上，中国外文局翻译院、中共河南省委外事工作委员会办公室、郑州大学、河南国际传播中心正式建立战略合作关系。

Going forward, they will jointly advance the TAC's Cultural Outreach Project in Henan to build a translation and international communication model with Henan characteristics.

未来，各方将携手合作，推动中国翻译协会“译介工程”在河南的深度实践与创新开展，共同打造具有河南特色的翻译与国际传播样板。

In 2025, TAC launched the Four Translation Projects initiative (i.e., projects for talent development, cultural outreach, translation research, and translator training), with the goal of coordinating and promoting reform and innovation across the entire chain of the translation industry, guiding the industry to serve the overall landscape of Chinese modernization at a higher level.
