The 2026 Kaifeng Qingming Cultural Festival opened on Tuesday in Kaifeng, drawing visitors and cultural figures from across the country.

Fan Jun, vice chairman of the China Quyi Artists Association, attended the event and highlighted the festival's role in honoring traditional culture while preserving shared holiday memories.

He noted that Kaifeng continues to present a unique blend of history and modern vitality, and invited visitors to enjoy spring outings in the city, experience local hospitality, and appreciate the distinctive humor of people from Henan.
