As spring unfolds, Lucas, a South African teacher at Technology & Media University of Henan Kaifeng, explores Episode 3 of the "Kaifeng Gift" series. At a dough figurine studio in Kaifeng, the capital of the Song Dynasty, he learns from seventh-generation inheritor Xing Shengnan and creates a "ma shang feng hou" (a traditional piece symbolizing good fortune). Through this hands-on experience, traditional craftsmanship comes to life, as the charm of the Song Dynasty continues to thrive today.
