When the lens of the "Ran Miao Cup" focused on Puyang County, the short videos captured not just creativity, but the industrial vitality brewing in a cup of coffee.

On November 9, 2025, this gathering of nearly 200 experts and creators strengthened the gustatory link of China-Africa cooperation on the land of the Central Plains. From the highland coffee fields of Ethiopia to the production workshops in Puyang, from the precise operation of freeze-drying production lines to the fragrant aroma wafting through cultural spaces, Puyang is now writing a new story of cross-border integration through coffee.

This vitality stems from the win-win cooperation of the "Belt and Road" initiative. The 2020 agreement with Ethiopia planted the seeds for Puyang's coffee industry. Today, Asia's first fully modern production line dedicated to Ethiopian coffee beans operates around the clock, and the nation's largest and most complete freeze-drying industrial chain connects upstream and downstream. With the aroma of "Made in Puyang" coffee reaching countries like Australia and Malaysia, this ancient Central Plains city is now carving its way into both domestic and international markets, powered by its distinct coffee fragrance. This industrial prowess solidifies the foundation for cultural dissemination.

The vitality also lies in the clever fusion of ancient and modern. At Huichuan Industrial's coffee culture exhibition center, "Chanzhou Impression" coffee, named after an ancient place name, blends Puyang's millennia-old cultural heritage into a rich flavor. Here, young people learn about roasting and appreciate different tastes, while peripheral products like coffee soap and cultural creative bracelets extend the industry's value into lifestyle aesthetics. Under the warm sun by the floor-to-ceiling windows, the collision of a pastoral, slow-paced life with modern commercial energy epitomizes the unique character of Puyang's coffee industry.

The lens of the "Ran Miao Cup" continues to record, and the story of Puyang's coffee is being elevated. Innovative platforms integrating industry and education, alongside communication matrices involving government, enterprises, and media, allow this cup of coffee to carry both China-Africa friendship and nurture urban renewal. In Puyang, the lingering sweetness in every drop of coffee is the best testament to its industrial vitality.
