The Ten-Year Commitment of the Wuzhen Summit and the "Digital Intelligence" Development
The 2025 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit has arrived as scheduled, themed "Building an Open, Cooperative, Secure, and Inclusive Digital Intelligent Future – Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace." It not only celebrates the 10th anniversary of the vision's proposal but also charts a new blueprint for digital development. This premier annual event in the digital field has gathered global attention, continuing to write a new chapter of open cooperation in Wuzhen.
The summit's agenda skillfully blends retrospection and foresight. Over the past decade, Zhejiang has delivered impressive results: the value-added of its digital economy has surged from 1.48 trillion yuan to 4.7 trillion yuan, Wuzhen's GDP has doubled, and all 11 prefecture-level cities have achieved full "Gigabit City" coverage. The live release of 12 international cooperation excellence cases showcased the fruitful outcomes of global digital collaboration. The concurrent "Light of the Internet" Expo featured over 600 enterprises presenting more than a thousand technological products, while industry leaders, including Hangzhou's "Six Little Dragons," shared insights on cutting-edge AI.
AI empowerment stood out as the summit's most dazzling highlight. A 1.8-meter-tall intelligent robot "traffic officer" coordinated with traffic signals for guidance; robot bands and fighting matches offered immersive experiences. Sugon unveiled the world's first single-cabinet-scale scaleX640 super-node with 640 cards, doubling computing power to solidify the foundation for "AI+" transformation. Practical applications of technologies like brain-computer interfaces and robots for public services made the blueprint for future living vividly clear.
The summit's significance extends far beyond a single event. For China, it serves as a review of a decade of digital transformation achievements and a rallying point for transitioning from a "strong cyber province" towards higher-quality development. For the world, it is a platform for breaking down barriers and sharing opportunities, as evidenced by partnerships with countries like Uganda that have enhanced their network coverage.
Grounded in a decade of experience and bridged by open cooperation, the Wuzhen Summit is guiding global efforts towards a more secure and inclusive digital intelligent future.
