On August 28, at the 15th China International Digital Publishing Expo, the austere binding of the Kazakh edition of The Analects contrasted vividly with the fantastical illustrations of the Russian edition of The Classic of Mountains and Seas, attracting many visitors to stop and browse. Large screens in the exhibition hall played foreign-language short dramas adapted from Chinese online literature, while at the immersive experience zone for Amazing Oracle Bone Script: the Prince's Glory, international guests donned VR headsets to step back more than 3,000 years into the world of the Shang Dynasty.

From classical texts to online literature, from printed books to screen adaptations, Chinese culture is reaching across borders and engaging the world in diverse forms
