At 12:47 p.m. on August 4, Henan's power load hit 91.33 million kilowatts, topping 90 million for the first time on record. This is the fifth record high in 2025, exceeding the previous peak of 89.76 million kilowatts on July 15 by 1.57 million kilowatts, up 1.7%. It also marks an increase of 10.09 million kilowatts, or 12.4%, compared with the historical high of 81.24 million kilowatts set on July 24, 2024. At present, the Henan power grid is operating normally with a secure electricity supply.

8月4日12时47分，河南全网用电负荷达到9133万千瓦，历史首次突破9000万千瓦，今年第五次创历史新高，较上次最大8976万千瓦（2025年7月15日）增加157万千瓦，增幅1.7%，较往年最大8124万千瓦（2024年7月24日）增加1009万千瓦，增幅12.4%。目前河南电网运行及电力供应平稳。

Since July, Henan has seen prolonged, widespread high temperatures. Rising demand for air conditioning and other cooling loads, coupled with robust economic growth, has kept electricity consumption across the province at sustained high-load levels.
