"Two days ago, a cargo ship carrying our company's export shipment of all-steel radial tires for trucks and buses left Qingdao for Ecuador," Wang Yanmin, Foreign Trade Manager of Aeolus Tyre Co Ltd told Henan Daily on July 3.

“前天公司申报出口的全钢客货子午线轮胎货船从青岛离境，前往厄瓜多尔。”7月3日，风神轮胎股份有限公司外贸经理王艳敏告诉记者。

On July 1, the mutual recognition of Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) between China and Ecuador officially took effect. This shipment was among the first to benefit from the AEO facilitation measures, resulting in a further reduction indelivery time. According to the head of the Audit Division at Zhengzhou Customs, it also marks the first shipment from Henan to benefit from the China-Ecuador AEO agreement's streamlined customs procedures.

7月1日，中国与厄瓜多尔海关“经认证的经营者”（AEO）互认安排正式实施，这批货物刚好享受到了AEO便利政策，交付周期在原有基础上再次缩短。郑州海关稽查处负责人介绍，这也是河南首票享受中国—厄瓜多尔海关AEO互认便利措施的货物。

AEO, or Authorized Economic Operator, is a program promoted by the World Customs Organization. It aims to offer preferential treatment and trade facilitation to companies with strong credit, high compliance, and secure supply chains. On July 1, Ecuador became the fifth Latin American country, following Chile, Brazil, Uruguayand Costa Rica, to sign a mutual AEO recognition agreement with China. As of now, China has established AEO mutual recognition arrangements with 50 countries and regions.

AEO即“经认证的经营者”，由世界海关组织倡导，旨在对信用状况良好、守法程度高和安全水平有保障的企业给予优惠便利。7月1日，厄瓜多尔成为继智利、巴西、乌拉圭、哥斯达黎加之后第五个与中国实施AEO互认的拉美国家。目前，与中国实施AEO互认的国家（地区）达到50个。

In the first five months of this year, 403 companies in Henan engaged in trade with Ecuador, with total imports and exports amounting to 560 million yuan, marking a 44.4% year-on-year increase. "The official launch of the China-Ecuador AEO mutual recognition arrangement will further help Henan's foreign trade enterprises tap into the Latin American market," said the manager.

今年前5个月，河南共有403家企业与厄瓜多尔开展贸易，进出口总值5.6亿元，同比增长44.4%。“中国—厄瓜多尔海关AEO互认安排正式实施，有助于河南外贸企业进一步开拓拉美市场。”该负责人说。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/王歌 编译/杨佳欣 审校/丁岚 赵汉青）
