舞，像人双手执羽毛之类的装饰舞蹈。本义为跳舞、舞蹈，卜辞中用作本义和方国名。
The oracle bone script form of "舞"(wǔ) resembles a person holding feathers in both hands while dancing. Its original meaning is "dance", and in oracle bone inscriptions, it is used both in this sense and as the name of a feudal state.
