On November 5, the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened in Shanghai under the theme "New Era, Shared Future." Nearly 3,500 exhibitors from 152 countries, regions, and international organizations gathered to engage with buyers, promoting deep cooperation and aiming for a prosperous shared future.

This year's CIIE is highlighted by setting many records and featuring many innovations and "firsts" with numerous cutting-edge technologies of their debuts.

11月5日,第七届中国国际进出口博览会在上海开幕,本届进博会的主题为“新时代,共享未来”,来自全球152个国家、地区和国际组织,近3500家参展企业与采购商沟通交流,共谋开放合作,共享繁荣未来。

本届进博会亮点纷呈,创造多项“历届之最”和“首次”,还有众多“黑科技”首发首秀。

01.png"Air Taxi" Makes Global Debut at the CIIE

The low-altitude economy has surged this year, drawing significant investment as cities nationwide compete to become leaders in this trillion-dollar industry. At CIIE, Guangdong-based Yufeng Future Flight Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its "air taxi" M1 eVTOL, a fully manned aircraft that stole the show as the largest and most attention-grabbing exhibit at the event.

This global debut of the M1 features a sleek black-and-white design, with a wingspan of 15 meters and a fuselage length of 10 meters. According to Yufeng Future founder and CEO Xie Ling, the M1 is powered by electricity and equipped with a composite wing structure, four forward-facing rotors, and 16 vertical rotors. Weighing 2.5 tons, it offers fully autonomous, unmanned flight with a range of 250 kilometers on a single charge, reaching cruising speeds of up to 200 km/h.

Inside, the M1's seagull-wing doors open to a spacious cabin seating five passengers, boasting a carrying capacity similar to that of a mid-to-large SUV.  "The M1's 20 propellers provide ample safety redundancy, allowing for a safe landing even if three rotors fail. The fully electric design also enables zero emissions and low noise, so it's no need for passengers to wear noise-canceling headphones," Xie added.

今年以来,低空经济持续火热,万亿级产业规模吸引各地纷纷布局,竞逐低空经济产业高地。

本届进博会上,御风未来飞行科技(广东)有限公司(以下简称御风未来)将“空中出租车”M1 eVTOL载人真机“飞”入了进博会,成为本届进博会最大、最吸睛的展品。

据悉,这是M1载人真机在全球首次公开亮相。M1身披简洁大气的黑白涂装,翼展达到15米,机身长度10米。

据御风未来创始人兼CEO谢陵介绍,M1使用纯电能源、复合翼构型,搭载了4个前拉旋翼和16个垂起旋翼,起飞重量达2.5吨,可以实现全自主无人驾驶飞行,单次充电可飞行250公里,巡航速度达200公里/小时。

打开M1的海鸥式舱门,宽敞机舱空间可容纳5人乘坐,承载能力与一辆中大型SUV相当。

“M1多达20个螺旋桨具备足够的安全冗余,任意三个旋翼失效依然能够安全降落。此外,M1采用全电驱动不仅可以实现零排放,低噪音也让乘客无需佩戴降噪耳机。”谢陵说。

Lunar Rover Tire Makes Asia Debut, Built for Extreme Conditions

Making its fourth appearance at CIIE, Michelin from France introduced a non-inflatable tire designed for lunar rovers, drawing substantial interest. "This is a groundbreaking product, unlike anything currently available," said Cai Hongcheng, Michelin China's Brand Communication Manager. Engineered to withstand temperatures from over 100°C to below -240°C, the tire maintains stability under extreme conditions. It also handles rugged terrain, ensuring sensitive instruments are protected from errors or damage caused by impacts.

Mentioning the tire's materials, Cai cited proprietary technology, explaining that details remain confidential due to commercial considerations. "This tire represents Michelin's forward-thinking approach, as humanity expands its exploration beyond Earth," he added.

第四次参展进博会的法国米其林轮胎,可谓是进博会的老朋友了。

在“米其林奇遇号”主题展位上,一款为月球探测车研发的免充气轮胎吸引了众多人的围观。

“这是一款独创的轮胎,还没有哪一款产品可以对标,这属于创新边界的产物。”米其林中国品牌传播部活动经理蔡宏成告诉记者,研发这款月球探测车轮胎的目的,一是为了应付极端天气变化,这款轮胎可以承受超过100℃和低于﹣240℃的极限温差,并在极限温差下保持功能的稳定;二是,这款轮胎自适应性比较强,遇到坑坑洼洼的路况,可以保持平衡和稳定,保证精密的探测仪器不会因为颠簸而导致误差或损害。

对于这款月球探测车轮胎的材质,蔡宏成表示,这是公司研发的高新科技的产物,目前具体的材质由于涉及商业机密,暂不方便对外公布。“这款轮胎是米其林创新探索的产物,因为人类不局限于仅在地球上生存与发展,要去探索广阔的宇宙空间。”

"Garlic E" Offers Innovations in Microbial Control for Food and Aquatic Safety

A new antimicrobial material called "Garlic E" drew attention at CIIE for its potential in food preservation and biosafety. Developed by Jiang Biao, Director of the CAS Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok) and his team, along with the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry of CAS, "Garlic E" addresses various microbial control needs, extending the shelf life of fruits and vegetables and reducing spoilage. For instance, after six days at room temperature (25°C), blueberries treated with Garlic E showed only a 5% spoilage rate, compared to 50% for untreated ones.

Lin Huali, CEO of Shanghai Landcent Biotechnology Co., Ltd., highlighted that Landcent had also developed fresh-keeping paper pads, sponge pads, and mist sterilizers utilizing Garlic E technology. These products can be customized to different produce needs. Lin added that Landcent planned to collaborate with research institutions to explore Garlic E's broader applications in fruit tree preservation, aquaculture, livestock health, environmental sanitation, soil remediation, and biomedicine, furthering advances in biosafety within the life sciences sector.

“大蒜E素”防治微生物感染 在果蔬保鲜、水产动保等方面大有可为

在进博会现场,一款名为“大蒜E素”的抗病原微生物新材料,吸引了众多关注的目光。它由中国科学院曼谷创新合作中心主任、国际欧亚卡学院院士姜标及团队协同中国科学院上海有机化学研究所共同研发。

据上海莱慎生物科技股份有限公司首席执行官林华利介绍,这款由公司首席科学家姜标院士等共同研发的“大蒜E素”,能够解决绝大多数病原微生物感染防治需求。

在果蔬保鲜方面,可以有效延长水果蔬菜货架保鲜期,降低果蔬腐烂损耗率,扩大果蔬销售半径。比如,常温条件下(25℃)储藏6天后,经大蒜E素处理的蓝莓腐烂率为5%,而未处理的蓝莓腐烂率高达50%。

此外,由莱慎生物研发生产的保鲜纸垫、保鲜海绵垫、果蔬保鲜片、大蒜E素雾化除菌除霉器,可应用于多种场景,还可根据不同的果蔬品种的需求,提供定制化保鲜技术和包装方案。
