On March 28, 2024, the "French Boxing Champion Delegation's Exchange Tour in China" took place at Shaolin Temple in Zhengzhou city, located in Central China's Henan Province. Nina Bergandi, who won the French boxing world championship in 2022 and 2023, participated in the event. She mentioned that despite the language barrier with the Shaolin monks, communication seemed smooth whenever they discussed martial arts.
