210 Luxembourg cultural relics arrive in Henan for exhibition, including Roman Gaul armets

A total of 210 pieces (sets) of cultural relics from Luxembourg have arrived at Henan Museum and are being prepared for exhibition, said a source from Henan Museum on March 19, 2024. It will be the first time that Luxembourg cultural relics exhibited in Henan.

记者2024年3月19日从河南博物院获悉，来自卢森堡的210件（组）精品文物已抵达该院，正在备展。这是河南与卢森堡首次实现文物双向交流。

Known as a land of castles, Luxembourg is rich in historical and cultural heritages, especially ancient castles. In 2018, 145 pieces (sets) of cultural relics unearthed in Henan made their first appearance in Luxembourg. This time, Luxembourg cultural relics, including Roman Gaul armets, human face-design containers, and gold coins of Roman Emperor Domitian, will be exhibited at Henan Museum at the end of March, 2024.

被称为“千堡之国”的卢森堡，古堡等历史文化遗迹众多，文化底蕴厚重。2018年，河南出土的145件（组）文物精品在卢森堡展出，是河南文物首次赴卢森堡展出。今次，包括高卢罗马时期骑士头盔面甲、人面容器、罗马皇帝多米提安金币等在内的一批卢森堡精品文物抵达河南，并将于2024年3月底在河南博物院展出。

The "Luxembourg Cultural Relics Exhibition" at Henan Museum will display more than 200 treasures from the National Museum for Archaeology, History and Art of Luxembourg. "Each treasure has its own story, detailing not only the changes with historical significance, but also the cultural and economic development of Luxembourg," said the source.

河南博物院相关负责人介绍，本次展览暂定名为“卢森堡文物精品展”，将穿越时空和地域的界限，引领大家欣赏来自卢森堡国家考古、历史与艺术博物馆的200多件瑰宝珍品。“它们每一件都带着自己的故事，细述着卢森堡的历史变迁、文化和经济发展脉络”。

Large in quantities, rich in categories, and flying across the Eurasian continent, these relics have special requirements for temperature, humidity and logistics time.
