今天是农历正月初三。在忙碌了两天后，人们可以休息一会儿。

Actually, it is considered an unlucky day to have guests or go visiting. People will go to rest earlier at night and get up late in the morning.

事实上，初三这天既不宜出门拜年也不宜邀请宾客来访，所以一般人家都早早熄灯睡觉，第二天早晨也会起得很晚。

Folklore says the 3rd day is also "rat marriage day," so people often go to bed earlier to give rats time for their wedding.

这一天还是“老鼠娶亲”的日子，所以早早熄灯睡觉便成了这一天的传统，其目的就是为了腾出时间给老鼠们成亲。
