Through World's Eyes | Khamphanh Phommathath: China-Laos Railway brings new opportunities to Laos' economic and social development

On Dec 8, Khamphanh Phommathath, Politburo member of the Party Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Central Committee and president of the State Inspection Authority, participated in the launching ceremony of the China-Laos Railway (Zhengzhou-Vientiane) international freight train. On the spot, Khamphanh Phommathath said that the Laos-China Railway not only brings new opportunities and impetus to various sectors of Laos' economic and social development, but also further promotes regional connectivity and mutual benefit.
