Song-Jin Ancient Street Site of Dengzhou

With the staff's explanationat the second phase of archaeological excavation area of the Song-Jin Ancient Street Site in the Unity Road of Dengzhou City, Henan Province, it seems that scenes of the history from a thousand years ago appear before our eyes.

The street whose width is less than ten meters,has witnessed hundreds of years of time and changes, and is an epitome of the rise and fall of the ancient city of Dengzhou during the Song and Jin Dynasties.

Tiger-faced tiles, pottery saving pots, pottery dice and porcelain Go pieces, porcelain lion ornaments, bronze mirrors, and bone hairpins are also found in the relics unearthed from this Song-Jin Ancient Street Site. There are also decorative and interesting items full of entertainment of life, presenting the lively and vivid daily life of the people of the Song Dynasty.
