Henan has 345 nature protected areas

In recent years, Henan has endeavored to enhance the diversity, stability and sustainability of ecosystems and the protectionon ecosystem. Up to now, there are 345 nature protected areasof various types in Henanprovince, effectively protecting 95% of the province's national-protected wildlife species and 80% of its typical ecosystems. The wetland protection rate has increased to 53.26%, and the ecological conditionhas been significantlyimproved.
