“行走河南·读懂中国”2023老家河南夏日美食季启动

The 2023 Henan Summer Delicacy Carnival kicked off tonight at the Henan Art Center in Zhengzhou City, Central China's Henan Province.

7月14日晚，“行走河南·读懂中国”2023老家河南夏日美食季在河南艺术中心文化广场启动。

At the launch ceremony, 181 popular food destinations and over 200 iconic foods from Henan were launched. More than 60 delicious dishes, including Huabaogang Roasted Chicken and Moutai Ice Cream, have presented a feast for the public.

启动仪式上，181个河南网红美食打卡地以及200余种旅游美食正式发布，画宝刚烧鸡、朱仙镇五香兔肉、茅台冰淇淋等60 余家美食为广大民众献上美食盛宴。

Moreover, the event has exciting music performances and other new immersive and interactive cultural and tourism activities, which brought everyone the enjoyment of delicious foods and an audio-visual feast.

活动现场还安排了激情欢乐的音乐演出，沉浸式、互动式的文旅新业态给大家带来味蕾和视听的双重享受，现场人气十足，男女老少在夏夜与河南美食文化来了一场亲密接触。

"It has delicious foods from the province, with unique and authentic tastes, which let me recall family's flavor, "said Guo Ziru, a graduate student who studies in Beijing. 

“这有全省各地的美食，味道特别地道，一下子就有了家的感觉。”刚从北京放暑假回来的研究生郭紫汝说。

"I am Li Wei from Erhe Dining-Hall. I planned to show the public the Sour and Spicy Soup with Snakehead Eggs. I hope more friends can enjoy the food, which has been added to the list of the intangible cultural heritage, and I hope to present Henan food to the rest of the world, "said Li Wei, the third-generation inheritor of the traditional technique of Henan soup.

“我是来自二合馆的李为，我带着二合馆的招牌菜酸辣乌鱼蛋汤来到这次美食展，希望更多朋友能够喜欢我们的这项非遗技艺，更好地把河南美食发扬光大。”豫菜吊汤传统技艺第三代传承人李为说。

The cultural and tourism industry is the primary driver of revitalizing consumption and promoting economic development. Henan will take the opportunity of the 2023 Henan Summer Delicacy Carnival to promote the integrative development of culture and tourism, constantly perform new activities to increase the vitality of cultural and tourism consumption, and continuously meet the needs of public consumption, said Huang Dongsheng, Party secretary and top official of Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province.

文旅行业是拉动市场消费、促进经济发展的主力军、主战场。省文化和旅游厅党组书记、厅长黄东升表示，将以“行走河南·读懂中国”2023老家河南夏日美食季活动为契机，强力推进文旅融合发展，持续创新文旅消费新场景，进一步激发文旅消费新活力，不断满足人民群众多层次多样化的文旅消费需求。
