HK students experience 7000-year Yangshao Culture in Sanmenxia

Recently, media students from HK visited Sanmenxia, Henan Province, to learn about the 7000-year Yangshao Culture. After giving a tour in the Yangshao Culture Museum, Miaodigou Museum and Guoguo Museum, students got to know that the word Yangshao(仰韶) means “looking up at the Shao Mountain”(仰望韶山), and they felt the great wisdom of the ancient people. Yan Yuyi from HK experienced making pottery by herself and said afterwards, “Having visited these places in Sanmenxia, I truly feel that Henan is the cradle of Chinese culture.”

近日，“2023范长江行动——香港传媒学子中原行”活动走进河南三门峡，感受7000年前的仰韶文化。从仰韶村国家考古遗址公园，到庙底沟博物馆，再到虢国博物馆，参观过程中，香港学子们了解到“仰韶”二字的意思为“仰望韶山”，也从各种形状和用途的陶器中感受到了古人的智慧。在体验彩陶制作后，香港学子严钰仪感叹道：“在这里就更加深刻地体会到，其实河南、中原就是我们中华文化的根。”
