Daniel Dow Jackson: Actually, when I first came to Zhengzhou that was in 2002, and I didn't know anything about Zhengzhou. I didn't know anything about China, in fact. But then I went travelling quite a bit and I purposefully would not read anything about where I was going because I wanted to experience that place in person and then learn about that culture from that point on. But I've been coming to China, coming to Zhengzhou many many times since then. For the last 4 years, I’ve lived in Zhengzhou. And I've learned quite a bit about the ancient city of Zhengzhou. It's a very impressive place. I understand that it’s called the cradle of Chinese civilization. It has an almost 4000-year history. I'm intrigued by the antiquity of civilization all over the world particular here in China. And what has now become a thriving metropolis of Zhengzhou. I also find it intriguing that it was the capital many times throughout several dynasties and has a very long history. One of my favorite things to do is to travel to the remnants of the wall, the Zhengzhou wall, the city walls. I mean if you want to see the history of the culture, all you have to do is to go to Henan Museum. And it’s all there.

丹尼尔·杰克逊：我第一次来郑州是2022年，当时我对郑州，对中国都不太了解。但那时我就特别喜欢旅行，而且是不做任何攻略的旅行，因为我想自己去探索当地文化。2002年以后，我来过中国很多次，也来过郑州很多次。过去4年，我一直住在郑州，对郑州也有了许多了解。这个城市给我留下了深刻印象，这里是中华民族的摇篮，这里有近4000年的历史文明。我对世界各地的古代文明都很感兴趣，尤其是对华夏文明。现在的郑州已经发展成为一个繁华的大都市。我还知道历史上有许多王朝曾在此建都，所以郑州也是一个历史悠久的古都。我还喜欢到郑州商城遗址的夯土城墙附近散步。当然，如果你想了解河南的历史文化，一定要去河南博物馆看看，因为河南博物馆就是河南历史文化的缩影。
