"Air Silk Road" in a Decade: Soaring into a Wider Sky

When you talk about ten years ago, what do you think of?

In 2013, President Xi proposed the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road” initiatives. Since then, China has entered a new era of all-round opening up. In the same year, the purchase proposal of HNCA was passed by the Luxembourg Congress with a high vote and officially announced to the public. In June 2014, the first Zhengzhou-Luxembourg international freight route was opened, which signals that the “Air Bridge” across China and Europe has been built.

Over the past ten years, the journalist from Henan Daily has recorded, witnessed and grown together with the Zhengzhou-Luxembourg “Air Silk Road”.

The Silk Road spans ancient and modern times. The sound of the camel bell，now has become the roar of an aircraft engine at an altitude of 10,000 meters. Through the bridge of the “Air Silk Road”, Henan is striding forward towards the ever-changing world, and the world also sees a vibrant Great Central Plains.
