May 22 marks the 30th International Day for Biological Diversity. Now, Henan boasts 4.187 million hectares of forest and 627,900 hectares of wetlands, with 656 species of terrestrial vertebrate and 3,939 species of advanced plants. It has become one of the provinces in China with the richest biological diversity.
