首届河南省少年业余围棋大奖赛在新乡举行

The 1st Henan Provincial Amateur Weiqi Match for Children held in Xinxiang

5月20日至21日，首届河南省少年业余围棋大奖赛在新乡举行，来自全省18个地市的280名少年棋手报名参赛。

The 1st Henan Provincial Amateur Weiqi Match for Children took place in Xinxiang City, Central China's Henan Province, on 20-21May, bringing together 280 participants from the province.

本次比赛由河南省围棋协会、新乡市体育局主办，红旗区文体局等单位承办，泸州绿豆大曲健康酒业有限公司、红旗区围棋协会、新乡市平原棋院协办。比赛设个人组和团体组两个组别，其中个人组118人，团体组162人，年龄最小6岁，最大17岁。值得一提的是，此次比赛提供业余6段晋升奖励，在全省各类少年围棋赛中尚属首次，吸引全省近60名业余5段及以上棋手参赛。

This event is hosted by Henan Weiqi Association (HWA) and Xinxiang Sports Bureau, organized by Xinxiang Hongqi District Sports Bureau and other units, and co-hosted by Luzhou Lvdou Daqu Health Liquor Co., Ltd., Hongqi District Weiqi Association, and Xinxiang Pingyuan Weiqi Institute. The match consists of 118 individual participants and 54 teams, with a minimum age of 6 and a maximum age of 17. Moreover, the event provides amateur 6-dan promotion rewards, the highest award among all Weiqi matches for children ever held across the province, attracting nearly 60 amateur 5-dan and above players to participate.

经过9轮比赛的激烈角逐，来自郑州的童若藩6段勇夺本次大奖赛个人组冠军并喜获8000元大奖，刘宇晨、赵康懿分获第二、三名。女子组赵康懿、廉若仪、张菁垚分获前三名；10岁组蔡星宇摘得冠军、赵胤初、刘林谦分获亚军、季军。

After nine rounds of competition, Tong Ruofan from Zhengzhou, a 6-dan player, won the individual championship and the grand prize of 8,000 yuan. Liu Yuchen and Zhao Kangyi ranked second and third, respectively. Zhao Kangyi, Lian Ruoyi, and Zhang Jingyao ranked in the top three in the women's group; in the 10-year-old group, Cai Xingyu won the championship, and Zhao Yinchu and Liu Linqian ranked second and third, respectively.

由黄承旭、王晨霖、郭宸宇组成的河南省少年1队获得团体冠军。根据规程，本次比赛5段前两名刘宇晨、赵康懿获得晋升业余6段的资格，另有8人获得晋升4段及以上的段位奖励。

The Henan Provincial Team 1, including Huang Chengxu, Wang Chenlin, and Guo Chenyu, won the team championship. According to regulations, the 5-dan players Liu Yuchen and Zhao Kangyi will be promoted to the amateur 6-dan, and eight others will be promoted to the 4-dan or 5-dan.

“围棋是中华民族传统文化中的瑰宝，作为一项益智类博弈运动，有利于少年成长及综合素质提升，”省体育总会副主席、省围棋协会主席马望表示，本次比赛的成功举办彰显了围棋在新乡巨大的发展潜力，希望少年围棋赛规模越办越大，吸引更多小朋友加入到围棋运动中来。

"Weiqi is a treasure in the traditional Chinese culture. As a puzzle board game, it benefits children's growth and overall quality improvement, "said Ma Wang, Vice Chairman of the Sports Federation of Henan Province and Chairman of the HWA. He added that the event also shows the potential of Weiqi progress in Xinxiang, and he hoped that more children could play the Chinese board game to better understand the traditional Chinese culture.

比赛期间，主办方还通过弈客围棋平台对比赛进行网络直播，吸引全国各地棋迷“围观”。尤其是第5轮童若藩与黄承旭之战，创下4万多人次的访问量，在当天所有比赛中排名第二。

During the competition, the organizers also conducted the live online broadcasts. The battle between Tong Ruofan and Huang Chengxu in round 5 on Saturday attracted over 40,000 visits online, ranking second among the five rounds of the day.
