“豫”见国手①│刘小光

Liu Xiaoguang (b. 20 March 1960 in Kaifeng City, Central China's Henan Province) is a professional Chinese 9-dan and a national first-class coach. In the 1980 China's National Weiqi Individual, he defeated many opponents, including Chen Zude and Nie Weiping, to finish with a 9-2 record and take the title. Moreover, Liu took the title in the National Championship (Guoshou Zhan) in 1986 and became the top in the first "Mei-Jin-Sen" match (Mingren Zhan) in 1988, etc. Liu was awarded six dan in 1982 and became a professional in 1985. Then, he was promoted to 9-dan in 1988. He was awarded the "Honorary Medal of Sports" by China's Sports Commission in 1985 and 1988. He was honored as the "National exemplary individual" by China's State Council in 1989 and the trans-century outstanding young and middle-aged coach by the General Administration of Sport of China in 1999.

刘小光，1960年出生于河南省开封市，著名围棋国手。国家一级教练员，1980 年获全国个人赛冠军。此外，刘小光获得多个棋赛冠军，如：1986 年获“国手战”冠军、1988 年获首届“名人战”冠军。1982年定为六段，1985年升为八段，1988年被中国围棋协会授予九段。1985、1988年获国体委授予的“体育运动荣誉奖章”，1989 年被国务院授予“全国先进工作者”称号，1999年被国家体育总局评为跨世纪中青年优秀教练员。
