Wang praises HWA's contributions on Weiqi cause

On February 17, Wang Bingqi, executive vice chairman of the Henan Provincial Sports Federation, inspected Henan Weiqi Association (HWA). Ma Wang, chairman of HWA, reported on the works of HWA since the delinking reform at the end of 2018.

2月17日，省体育总会常务副主席王炳奇莅临省围棋协会开展工作调研。省围棋协会主席马望就协会2018年底进行“脱钩”改革以来的基本情况、主要工作、存在问题以及工作建议进行了汇报。

Wang recognized the works of HWA. He said that the HWA was the first sports non-governmental organization to complete the delinking reform in Henan and has carried out a successful market-oriented operation.

王炳奇对省围棋协会整体工作给予充分肯定。他指出，河南省围棋协会是我省体育类协会中换届脱钩最早，进行市场化运作较为成功的全省性体育社会组织。

Wang said that in the past four years, especially in the past two years, the HWA has promoted the high-quality development of the Weiqi cause in Henan, making significant contributions to revitalizing Henan Weiqi and building a strong province in sports. He hoped the HWA would review and summarize in time and exert more effort to develop the Weiqi cause.

四年以来尤其是近两年来，在以马望主席为首的理事会带领下，推动了我省围棋事业的高质量发展，为河南围棋中兴和体育强省建设作出了积极贡献。他希望，围棋协会要及时回顾总结，不懈奋斗，继续为中原围棋中兴、为我省体育强省战略实施再立新功。

Wang also discussed the problems and situations in the development of Weiqi in Henan.

王炳奇还就我省围棋发展中存在的问题以及破题之策提出意见，与大家进行了研讨。

Related personnel from the Secretariat of Henan Sports Federation and the HWA accompanied Wang on the inspection trip.
