2023 'Harmony and Shared Future' Concert held in Henan

The 2023 "Happy Chinese New Year" launch ceremony and "Harmony and Shared Future" Concert were staged online at the Henan Art Center on Jan 14, the Chinese Little New Year's Day (Xiaonian). The concert attracted hot attention and was warmly acclaimed by netizens at home and abroad.

Featuring four chapters of "heaven, earth, human and harmony," the concert has incorporated in its repertoires many Chinese and western cultural symbols, such as ancient music, folk music, symphony, pipa, street dance, ballet, taijiquan, paper-cut, etc. That conveyed to the world the Chinese philosophical thinking on harmonious coexistence.       

Besides, the concert invited China National Traditional Orchestra, Suzhou Symphony Orchestra, and International Youth Choir, as well as well-known musicians such as Chen Xieyang, Guo Feng, Lang Lang, Wu Bixia, and Zhao Cong to participate in the show.

The "Happy Spring Festival" is sponsored by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and co-hosted by the China International Culture Association and Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Since its launch in 2001, the event has attracted more and more foreigners to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival.
