5.05 Million Hectares of High-standard Farmland Built in Henan
河南已建成高标准农田7580万亩占全省耕地面积近7成
Since 2011, Henan has invested 103.7 billion yuan to build 75.80 million mu (1 mu equals about 0.06 hectares) of high-standard farmland, accounting for 67 percent of the provincial total, with its grain output exceeding 130 billion jin (1 jin equals 0.5 kg) for 5 consecutive years, making great contributions to national food security.
