Zhengzhou Airport's Jan-Apr Freight Volume Surged
Since January, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (Zhengzhou airport) has spared no efforts to ensure the smooth and orderly flow of people and goods at home and abroad, thus witnessing a steady increase in its air cargo volume. In the first 4 months, the cargo and mail throughput of Zhengzhou airport reached 227 thousand tons, of which 192 thousand were contributed by international (and regional) businesses with a year-on-year increase of 15 percent, while 205 thousand were made by all-cargo flights, up 10.8 percent from a year earlier.

A total of 31 all-cargo airlines opened 48 air freight routes in Zhengzhou by the end of April with 42 cities around the world. Zhengzhou airport's air freight routes have covered 17 world's top 20 international first-class air cargo hubs connecting 17 Belt and Road countries. So far, a Y-shaped international air freight network spanning the three economic zones of Europe, America and Asia, covering the world's major economies and supported by multiple destinations around the world has been formed.
